So this morning I got back from the gym to see a massive white van parked in my driveway and a man crouched in the corner of my front yard. It was quite random but to my unawareness it was the plumber man fixing some leaking tap.

So here is me, sweat drying up, becoming cold and hungry and in need of a nice shower and food!

But the water is obviously turned off as the man is fixing it!
This random morning turned out to be something that God used to speak to me and it was a little something like this; What is essential in your life?

Quite simple really, but powerful as I think about how water is sooo essential I mean I wanted to wash my strawberries for my smoothie- couldn't, and then I wanted to wash up my blender- couldn't, then the clothes in the washing machine were stopped- no water and obviously no shower could happen!!

So if this is just one morning where I needed water and couldn't have it, imagine what people on the other side of the world are doing where there is limited supply and a great walking distance in between them and water?

Its horrible to think about what else they lack!

And then I thought about God and how much he is essential in my life- Do I go a morning and think about him as much as I use water? or anything else in life for that matter?

How much is God essential in my life?
I sit here and know the answer to my question which is my regret to say that I can go a morning without even thinking about my father and talking to him.

I remember the passage of the bible where it says that he has countless thoughts about us and how he is always there for us so why is it so hard to make God essential in our day, everyday?

I think we just need to figure out what is important in life and cling to it-

So I will cling to Jesus, for he is our wellspring of life...

our water.
