It has been a while since I last ventured to share my thoughts with the world...well maybe not the world but at least a few.

Just a few scattered thoughts that have been with me lately;

- A statement that may be easier or harder for you to comprehend than it was/is for me.
"The bible is sufficient enough"

Paul writes in 2tim 3:16
"All scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realise what is wrong in our lives. It straightens us out and teaches us to do what is right. It is God's way of preparing us in every way, fully equipped for every good thing God wants us to do."

Do we lean too much on what people's revelations are of the bible or what they are hearing from God personally to dictate our walk with God? instead of going straight to the word when the word tells us that its the lifesource.
Dont misunderstand me, each one of us is God's tabernacle/temple for the Holy Spirit to dwell and guide us, however I think that balance is vital to equip us in living out God's plans.

- the tongue has also been on my mind...yes...the tongue.
Many, if not all sins begin with a word. if not outwardly, than inwardly. In James3 he talks about how you cant get both fresh and bitter water from a spring.
The life we live and the words we speak should match up, and living two lives means only that we are covering up one of them.

I pray that we can be people that bare good fruit that is out of a sacrificed life for Him.

- One last thought that's a struggle is this; How much am I willing to let go of in order to do the things that God is calling me to do?

I know its selfish, but I pray and hope that whatever God is asking me and you to let go of, or go without that we would be able to say something simple like...
ok.

God, give us wisdom to live our lives solely for you.
